Continuing my exploration of the theme of dream meanings, I created the project Poop Your Imagination. It is based on a Korean belief according to which dreaming about poop is a sign of good luck. There are more than 140 traditional interpretations depending on the context—for example, dreaming of stepping in it, seeing it, or even defecating oneself.

The idea is to record brainwaves using an EMOTIV EEG headset while imagining excrement. This concept was inspired by the work of YouTuber Perri Karyal, who controlled a video game using this type of headset. I have not yet received the device, but once I do, I will try to force myself to dream about excrement while wearing it. If the headset detects brainwaves corresponding to this image, the system will print a small “fortune ticket.”

In the meantime, I have already prepared code that displays one of the 144 traditional interpretations. Afterwards, I trained an AI via the OpenAI API using this dataset to generate new, previously unseen interpretations.
