Jellyfish

This project explores the impact of music on dreams by visually recreating a striking dream from my childhood—the jellyfish dream. Through the integration of the Stable Diffusion API into TouchDesigner, the generated images evolve according to the musical intensity, transforming the dreamlike experience into an interactive exploration. Inspired by scientific studies (Olbrich, K. I., & Schredl, M., 2019. Music and dreams: A review. International Journal of Dream Research, 12(2), 67–71) showing that music can influence the content and emotion of dreams, this project aims to relive this jellyfish dream while experimenting with how sound shapes dream perception through imagery.
