Bee’s Besties is a visual novel game in which the player takes on the role of a Korean student who has come to France for university studies. The story begins with their first encounters at school, meeting French students as well as another Korean student.

The protagonist experiences a strong cultural contrast, particularly between individualism and collectivism. To reflect this, the characters are represented as animals: Korean characters appear as bees (social animals), while French students are depicted as a cat, a tiger, and a bear (more solitary animals).

Throughout the game, players make choices based on different situations, leading to three possible endings: returning to Korea, adapting to the culture, or choosing to remain with another “bee.”
